Amazon House Hostel - Iquitos

It was a nice hotel in a very nice area, near to Amazon House, and the centre within easy reach by tuk tuk.

Convenient location within walking distance to the city center and airport, close to the square. the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. 🌟.

Convenient location, close to everything within walking distance. I felt safe in the area. the beds were super cozy and there were pay, per, view TV channels available. Plus, there was a nice writing desk for my convenience. All this for just $14 , a steal! 🌟.

As a vegetarian traveler, I appreciated being able to cook in the nice kitchen at Amazon House. The nearby shops made it easy to buy ingredients and the location was convenient, being close to the square. Carolina was incredibly helpful in planning our city trip and arranging airport transportation. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the delicious fruit mix. The jungle trip organized by the hostel was a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you for the clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and welcoming family, and great hospitality. The Wi-Fi was also a plus. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Iquitos.

Some activities mentioned on the tour program did not take place due to the dry season, and guests were not informed beforehand. The cabins in the jungle were different from what was shown in the pictures.

The family running the hostel was cute and friendly. They provided airport pickup, delicious welcome drinks, and helped with everything. The new hostel had a cozy sitting area with rocking chairs and a balcony to relax and watch the rain. The staff, including Karlos and Karina, spoke great English and were really good too make guests feel at home. Mama even gave a haircut and Papa remembered everyone's name. The location was quiet and relaxed, with a nearby bodega for cheap breakfast and supplies. the best place to stay in Iquitos!

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The staff was friendly, providing me with the best recommendations for local sights and bars. The common area was regularly cleaned and allowed for food storage. The location was great, with many attractions in this city and the surrounding area easily accessible by moto-taxi, which only cost between s./ 3 or s./ 5.
